Donor cows at CCGN are managed on a pasture setting allowing adequate exercise and a clean environment. They are exposed to both native and brome grass; as well as being fed a corn mix grain concentrate, alfalfa hay, and a free choice prairie hay.

Collections for each donor typically occur on 60-day intervals allowing for us to superovulate them using their natural heat. Donors need to be at least 60 days postpartum and cycling normally prior to the collection date.

CCGN charges a daily freezing charge. No matter how many embryos you freeze that day, the freezing fee is the same. All embryos stored at the clinic are kept in a concrete vault for added protection.

Embryos can be shipped to and from our clinic using UPS or FedEx. Please call Sandy at the clinic to arrange for your embryos to be shipped or to let us know that you are sending embryos to be added to your inventory.

While the majority of the embryo transfers we perform are either fresh transfers or embryos frozen in ethylene glycol for direct transfer; we also offer our clients the expertise to transfer embryos frozen in glycerol (or 3-step embryos).

In limited situations, CCGN offers our clients the opportunity to transfer demi-embryos. This advanced reproductive technology helps maxamize the number of pregnancies produced per embryo(s) recovered. Please contact us for further details.

Fetal Gender determination can best be determined between 70 and 80 days of gestation. This information can allow you to market your products of embryo transfer before they are even born.
